There is an increasing number of fraud cases where people who, pretending to be municipal city staff, will call regarding the financial support related to COVID-19, with the aim of stealing money, or asking for personal information (bank account number, etc.). The government and municipal officers will NEVER ask for handling charges for the benefit payments or ask you to use ATMs. The City Office will not send emails or go to your homes for the registrations. Don’t be deceived by such requests or offers. Contact the Minoh City Office (072-723-2121) or the Minoh Police Station (072-724-1234) immediately if you notice anything suspicious.
