The present computer system of our municipal libraries is to be replaced. Based on the following schedule, all the libraries will be temporarily closed. “Henkyaku-posts” (book drop boxes) will be closed as well and no books can be returned during the closure period.
(1) Closing schedule:
From Tue., Oct.14 to Thu., Oct. 23
Seinan Library only: from Tue., Oct. 14 to Thu., Nov. 13
※The Minoh City E-Library won’t be affected and will remain accessible during the closure.
※At Semba Library, Osaka University’s book floors (3rd and 4th), study rooms and newspaper corner will remain open for public during the closure.
(2) Book reservation and checkout services:
During this period, Minoh Library’s various web services (online book search, online reservation and online renewal, etc.) won’t be available.
※If you borrow a book during the Tue., Sep. 30 – Mon., Oct. 13 period, your loan period will be exceptionally 3 weeks.
