This year, we will again hold the highly popular event, Minoh “Hatten Ishikura” Walk Trial, in which participants walk through the mountains of Minoh, visiting stone houses with Buddhist statues one by one. On the day of the event, Minoh Tourism Volunteer Guides will accompany the groups and give easy-to-understand explanations about each stopping point.
There are two courses to choose from, depending on your physical condition: “Two Deities Course” visiting two stone houses and “Four Deities Course” visiting four. Please feel free to invite your family or friends and join us.
Date: Sat., Feb. 28 10:00-16:00
Place: Meeting & Finish at Katsuou-ji Park Area
(The event will be held even in light rain.)
Eligibility: 4th-grade elementary school students and older
※Elementary school students may join only the “Two Deities Course” if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Courses:
(1) Two Deities Course – Approx. 3 km / About 2 hours for beginners
(2) Four Deities Course – Approx. 7.3 km / About 5 hours (including a lunch break) for experienced walkers
Capacity: 300 participants
Participation Fee: ¥500
Gifts for Participants:
(1) Q’s Mall plush toy key holder
(2) Katsuou-ji original snack
(3) Free admission to Katsuou-ji Temple
