(1) You can file your final tax return using your smartphone or computer. You can fill out a form from the Kakutei Shinkokusho-tou Sakusei Corner on the National Tax Agency (Kokuzeicho) website. Follow the instructions on the screen to enter the required information and your final tax return will be completed. Online tax filing (e-Tax) is available for final tax return with “My number”.
(2) If you are submitting your final tax return and attached documents on paper, please submit only the “Tax return form for submission”.
(3) You can visit the following Tax Office in person if you need some advice about filling in the forms for your final tax return. At the venue (Toyono Zeimusho), you will be asked to fill out your final tax return form on your smartphone. You need to bring your “My Number” Card and remember both PIN numbers.
※Before you visit Toyono Zeimusho, please make a reservation through the National Tax Agency LINE official account (QR code). Admission numbered tickets to be distributed on the day are limited. When it is busy, reception may close early.
