Please apply if you wish to enroll your child in a municipal daycare center (nursery), private daycare center (nursery), municipal/private nursery course of an early education and care center (“Nintei Kodomo-en”, a kindergarten/nursery combined facility), or a community-based daycare center, etc. in Minoh City from April 2024. Those who have already applied for and are waiting for the approval are also required to apply.
◆Eligible children:
(1) Children from 57 days after birth up to the age before attending elementary school
(2) In case a parent or guardian is unable to take care of the child at home due to any of the following reasons:
- Working 4 days or more in an average week (usually 4 hours a day or more),
- Seeking a job,
- Having another child on the way or having a new born,
- Having a disease or disability,
- Living with a family member who needs care,
- Being on the way to recovery from a disaster,
- Being a student, etc.
(3) Children who are living in Minoh City when they enter those daycare facilities
◆How to apply:
(1) Obtain the necessary documents for the application.
The documents are available from mid-September (scheduled) at the Desk for Early Childhood (Kodomo Sogo Madoguchi) on the 2nd floor of Minoh City Office Annex, municipal daycare centers, private daycare centers, early education and care centers, community-based daycare centers, Toyokawa Branch and Todoromi Branch. It is downloadable from the Minoh City website.
(2) Prepare the application documents and submit the completed documents to the Kodomo Sogo Madoguchi. Your ID such as “My Number Card” or driver’s license, etc. are required.
You can also apply by post. (The documents must be received by Sat., Nov. 25, 2023 by Kodomo Sogo Madoguchi, Minoh City Office at Nishishoji 4-6-1, Minoh, Osaka 562-0003)
◆Application period:
Applications will be accepted from Fri., Nov. 10 to Sat., Nov. 25, 2023, during office hours from 8:45 to 17:15. (Closed on Sundays and national holidays)
※Usually, applications are due by the 5th day of the month prior to the month in which you wish to send your child to the daycare center, etc. (For example, if you want your child to start in May, the deadline is April 5.) However, if you want your child to start in January, February or March, a different timing of application is required. In this case, the deadline for application is Sat., Nov. 25 for these three months. Please be careful.
