Please make sure to use designated garbage bags when throwing away combustible waste in Minoh City. The garbage bags are available for free by exchanging a ticket (postcard) for “burnable garbage bags” at the designated supermarkets, convenience stores, etc. Tickets have been sent in order from Thu., Aug. 1. If you don’t receive yours by Fri., Aug. 16, please contact the Waste Management Division (Kankyo Seibi-shitsu).
◆Exchange period: Please exchange the garbage bags by Sat., Dec. 28. After this date, you will be provided fewer bags, and after Tue., Sep. 30, 2025, the garbage bags will not be provided for free.
◆Number of bags: The total amount of garbage bags is determined by the number of people in the household. When you go to receive the garbage bags, please choose the combination of capacity size written on your ticket, and also please don’t forget to take a large shopping bag for carrying the garbage bags home. If you want to get the other combination of capacity size, please go to the Citizen Services Division (Shimin Service Seisaku-shitsu) at Minoh City Office, Toyokawa Branch, or Todoromi Branch with the ticket (postcard).
◆Households who can receive extra free garbage bags: The additional ticket (postcard) will be mailed to you in the middle of August.
a. Households with children under 3 years old as of Sat., Sep. 30, 2024. (No application needed.)
b. Households with people over 65 or people with physical disabilities who use disposable diapers, and whose application for welfare additional distribution of welfare bonus distribution for special bags for burnable garbage has been approved during June. (Those who received an additional ticket last year do not need to apply.)
