Please get regular health check-ups to discover diseases early and/or prevent them.
Basic Health Check-ups
Those who will be between 15 – 39 years old (between 1 April – 31 March) and who do not have the opportunity to get a checkup through work or school can receive one free checkup per year at the Minoh Medical Health Center.
Please make a reservation at the Minoh Medical Health Center.
Please bring something to verify your address, name and age, such as a health insurance card.

Those who have National Health Insurance in Minoh City can receive one free checkup per year (between 1 April – 31 March).
If you receive a checkup ticket from the City Office, please use this to apply for a free checkup at a city designated medical institution.
Please bring something to verify your address and age, such as a health insurance card.

Late-Stage Medical Care System for the Elderly Health Check-ups
Those who have Late-Stage Medical Care System for the Elderly can receive one free checkup per year (between 1 April – 31 March).
The Wide Area Union for the Late-Stage Medical Care System for the Elderly in Osaka Prefecture will send you an checkup ticket. Please apply for a checkup according to the instructions in the envelope.

Late-Stage Medical Care System for the Elderly Dental Health Check-ups
Those who have Late-Stage Medical Care System for the Elderly can receive one free dental checkup per year (between 1 April – 31 March).
The Wide Area Union for the Late-Stage Medical Care System for the Elderly in Osaka Prefecture will send you instruction documents. Please apply for a checkup according to the instructions.

Cancer Examinations
Those who meet the requirements in the table below can receive one free examination per year (between 1 April – 31 March) for each type of cancer.

| Hepatitis virus screening | Those aged 40 and older who have never undergone a hepatitis screening before |
Your age is considered to be the age you will turn between 1 April – 31 March.

You can get a health handbook (only for those age 40 and older) from a Minoh City designated medical institution or the 1F counter at Minoh Life Plaza.

Using the Minoh Medical Health Center
Comprehensive medical examinations (Ningen Dokku)
Health check-ups (Basic Health Check-ups, Specific Health Check-ups, Late-Stage Medical Care System Health Check-ups, and Cancer Examinations)
The Center offers MRI brain scans, helical CT scans for lung cancer, lung cancer sputum test, visceral fat exam, breast exam, mammogram, breast ultrasound scan, abdomen ultrasound, carotid duplex ultrasound, arteriosclerosis, stomach endoscopy, tumor marker tests, pepsin, helicobacter pylori, bone density, HPV test, thyroid function blood test, sleep apnea syndrome screening and salt intake.
Please make a reservation beforehand. When making a reservation please ask about the cost of the examination.
Financial aid is available to those who have Minoh City National Health Insurance. Please ask for details when making a reservation.

Those who will be an even numbered age between 40 – 74 years old before next 31 March can receive a free dental checkup.
If you receive a checkup ticket from the City Office, please use this to apply for a free checkup at a city designated dental clinic.

Periodic dental check-ups, fluoride treatments and tooth brushing guidance are available, aimed at those aged 1 – 15.
