Together with May issue of the Momiji Dayori, the new “Bosai Map (Disaster Prevention Map)” was delivered. This is the keep-it-for-the-future-reference edition as of May 2019. The “Bosai Map” shows potentially dangerous places in the event of natural disasters such as earthquakes and heavy rain, as well as where “Hinanjo” (emergency shelters) are. “Hazard Areas” have been revised. “Hazard Areas” are places where “mudslide” or “flood” may occur in the event of natural disasters. Please make sure to check the new “Bosai Map”.

◆When should I go to an emergency shelter?
When Minoh City announces “Evacuation Preparation Information (Hinan-junbi)”, elderly people, disabled people and those with little children should go to emergency shelters right away. Others should get ready for evacuation and actually go there when there is “Evacuation Advisory (Hinan-kankoku)” announced.
※You can go to an emergency shelter even if your house is not in the hazard area. If you feel unsafe at home, please feel free to go to an emergency shelter.

◆Please check the “Bosai Joho (Disaster-prevention Information)” on the reverse side of the “Bosai Map”!
You can find how you can prepare for natural disasters on the reverse side of the “Bosai Map”. Please thoroughly read it with your family.
