Two thirds of Minoh City is hills and forests. Once a forest fire occurs, it will take decades to restore the forests. Please take the following steps to prevent forest fires:
(1) Don’t start open fires near dry grass or where the use of fire is prohibited.
(2) Don’t start open-air fires if it is windy or if the air is dry.
(3) Stay with the fire while it burns. Put out the fire completely before you leave.
(4) Smoking should be done only at designated places. Make sure your cigarette butt is completely out, and don’t throw it away.
(5) Never play with fire.
