Please file your final tax return for 2021 between Wed., Feb. 16 and Tue., Mar. 15, 2022. The procedures are as follows.
(1) Prepare the final tax return form (“Kakutei Shinkokusho”):
a. To write on the paper form, you can get the form at a Tax Office (local government office which manages taxes in each regional area) or download it on the National Tax Agency (Kokuzeicho) website.

Please be careful not to forget to fill in each item.
b. You can make it online at “Creation Corner for Final Tax Return (Kakutei Shinkokusho-tou Sakusei Corner)” on the NTA website.

(2) Submit the final tax return form to the tax office:
a. Please print the completed form out and bring it or send it by post to Toyono Tax Office.
Accepted between Wed., Feb. 16 to Tue., Mar. 15 9:00-16:00
※Closed on Sat., Sun. and National Holidays except Sun., Feb. 20 & Sun. Feb. 27
Please note that a numbered ticket is required to enter the Toyono Tax Office. The ticket will be distributed from the morning of the day. Also, be sure to check your temperature when entering and to wear a face mask.
- Filing it online (e-Tax) with your PC or smartphone is available.
By getting your ID and password at the Tax Office, you can file the completed form through your PC or smartphone.

(3) Visit the Tax Office for advice and assistance in creating the form:
If you have any questions, you can get answers at the Tax Office. We recommend you arrive there early because a lot of people will come. To prevent the spread of the COVID-19, admission may be restricted or the last entry may be closed early. Also, to shorten the time of your stay, please fill in your final tax return form and attached documents at home and bring them with you.
