The “final tax return” is a process where a taxpayer calculates the amount of income tax the payer owes for the period between January to December of the previous year and either gets a tax refund or pays the remaining owed taxes. To calculate the income tax, the taxpayer needs to know the income (such as salary or pension) and the expenses (the money used to gain the income), the total insurance premiums, and total medical expenses.
