About two thirds of Minoh City is hills and forests. Once a forest fire occurs, it will take decades to restore the forests. Please take the following steps to prevent forest fires.
(1) Don’t light open-air fires near dry grass or locations where the use of fire is prohibited.
(2) Don’t light open-air fires if it is windy or if the air is dry.
(3) Stay with the fire while it burns. Put out the fire completely before you leave.
(4) Smoking should be done only at designated places. Extinguish your cigarette butts fully and do not throw them away.
(5) Never play with fire.
