With the prices of many things going up, Osaka Prefecture is supporting families with children under 18 and pregnant women with food expenses. Eligible citizens can get ¥5,000 worth of either rice or groceries.
◆Intended for
Those who live in Osaka Prefecture when applying, and meet the following conditions.
(1) Children who were born after April 2, 2005
(2) Women who are pregnant when applying (Mother and Child Health Handbook or “Boshi Kenko Techo” is required to prove their pregnancy.)
※Families with more than 2 children need the application for each child.
◆Can receive
¥5,000 worth of a digital rice coupon, Rice PAY Osaka (Okome PAY Osaka), or groceries chosen from the project web catalog.
※Please check the catalog on the dedicated website. You will find different kinds of groceries there.

◆How to apply
(1) Apply from the dedicated website by Thu., Nov. 30, 2023.

※You will need to upload an ID card image or other documents to verify the names, birth dates, and addresses of both the applicant and/or the eligible child. Adequate documents include “My Number Card” (the front side only), a Health Insurance Card, a Driver’s License, a Resident Card, a certified copy of Residence Registration (without “My Number”), Mother and Child Health Handbook (the front cover only), etc.

(2) The application will be checked by Osaka Prefecture, and the coupon ID will be provided by e-mail after their decision.
(3) Visit the website by Jan. 31, 2024 with your coupon ID, and choose the groceries you would like from the web catalog or use the digital rice coupon, “Rice PAY Osaka”, by the date.
