◆“Referral Letter” and “First Consultation Fee Surcharge” (Shoshinryo-Kasankin)
A “referral letter” is required for your first consultation in the departments of General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology and Rehabilitation. Other departments can be consulted without a “referral letter”, but a “first consultation fee surcharge” of ￥7,700 will be charged. (You will not be charged a “first consultation fee surcharge” for your first consultation in Obstetrics.)
※You can ask your family doctor or another medical institution to write a “referral letter” addressed to Minoh City Hospital.
※Patients receiving the first consultation without a “referral letter” will be charged a “first consultation fee surcharge” in addition to the standard consultation fee.
