DPT-IPV Is Available for Two Months Old Babies or Older

DPT-IPV (Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus and Inactivated Poliovirus Vaccine) prevents the development and severe symptoms of these diseases. This vaccination was eligible for children aged from 3 months to 7 and a half years old, but is expanded from 2 months old, as of Apr. 1, 2023. The number of this vaccination is 4 doses total, and its standard schedule is as follows:
(1) The first phase: 3 doses between 2 months and 12 months old, 20-56 days interval between each
(2) An additional vaccination: 1 dose 6 months or longer after the third shot (12-18 months interval recommended)
※This vaccine is free of charge, but please beware that it will cost you for the missed vaccination interval or the ineligible aged children.
