A community event, “Art Festival @ Minoh Semba Hiroba” will be held on Sat., Oct. 12 in the Minoh Semba area. This year’s theme is “Dance” and the event will feature a “Dance for Everyone” performance to convey the joy of dancing to children.
Elementary, middle, and high school students are invited to perform the “Dance for Everyone” on the day of the event. Members will work together to create an original dance for the event with the theme of Minoh. Those with no dance experience or with disabilities can participate, regardless of gender or nationality. Prior to the actual performance in October there will be 6 workshops. Please take the schedule into consideration and apply for it.
◆Eligibility: Those who satisfy both of the following
(1) Elementary, middle, or high school students who live in Minoh City or attend school in Minoh City
(2) Those who can perform on the grand staircase stage of Semba Hiroba on Sat., Oct. 12
◆Workshop schedule: 6 times in total, time 13:00-16:00
Sat., Sep. 21, Sun. (holiday), Sep. 22, Mon. (holiday), Sep. 23, Sat., Sep. 28,
Sat., Oct. 5, and Sun., Oct. 6
◆Workshop place: Semba Lifelong Learning Center
◆Instructors: Ms. Mayumi Shoji & Mr. Bun Kobayashi
◆Capacity: 30 people (if there are too many applicants, a lottery will be held)
◆Fee: Free
◆Application: From the application form by Fri., Aug. 30. Or by phone or fax.
