Get a Rubella Antibody Test and Vaccination

Men born between Apr. 2, 1962 and Apr.1, 1979 can get a free rubella antibody test and vaccination. If you do an antibody test and find that you don’t have any antibodies, please get vaccinated. You can get it for free until Mon., Mar.31, 2025.
In the 2019 fiscal year, Minoh City mailed coupons to eligible people to get antibody tests and vaccinations for free. The expiry date of the coupon has been extended and it can now be used until Mon., Mar. 31, 2025. Please make a reservation at the participating medical institution and then bring the coupon with you. The coupon can only be used once. If you have lost your coupon or have moved to Minoh City, please complete the reissuance procedure or contact the Community Health Division (Chiiki Hokenshitsu).
※The deadline for voluntary vaccination assistance is Mon., Mar. 31, 2025. Eligible participants were men born before Apr. 1,1962, or between Apr. 2,1979 and Apr. 1, 1990. The subsidy amount is up to ¥6000 for both test and vaccination. To apply, please visit Minoh City website or call the Community Health Division.
※This vaccination is not compulsory. Please decide by yourself considering the pros and cons (effects vs. risks).
