Take a Lifestyle-related Diseases Checkup (Specific Health Checkup) for Free

The residents of Minoh City aged 40 to 74 who have National Health Insurance as of Apr. 1, 2023 are eligible for free medical checkup of lifestyle-related diseases (high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.). It is important to find these diseases in early stages. Minoh City sent a free ticket for this medical checkup (specific health checkup) to those eligible in the middle of April. If you have not yet received it, please contact the National Health Insurance Office (Kokumin Kenko Hoken-shitsu).
◆How to have a specific health checkup:
(1) Find a hospital.
Please refer to the Health Check-up Guidebook (“Kenshin Guidebook”) or the Minoh City website. From there, decide on the hospital where you will have a specific health checkup.
(2) Make an appointment.
Please call the hospital where you want to visit and tell them, “I would like to get my free specific health checkup”.
(3) Visit the hospital on the appointment day.
Please visit the hospital with your specific health checkup ticket sent by Minoh City, Health Insurance Certificate (Kenko Hokensho), and the questionnaire sent with the ticket, etc.
