The rainy season has started, and heavy rain is likely to occur. From now until summer, natural disasters caused by heavy rain such as typhoons and torrential rains are more likely to occur. Please take preventive measures against heavy rain immediately, as cleaning up the rain ditches around your house and preparing water and food for 3 days.
◆Clean up the rain ditches around your house.
If the ditches are full of fallen leaves or twigs, it can cause water to flow poorly and lead to overflows. If one area overflows, it will cause great damage to the surroundings. Please clean up the ditches before the rainy season begins.
◆Make sure you have a 3-days’ supply of water and food.
After a large disaster, help might not arrive from outside for up to 3 days, so prepare sufficient supply.
Water: 9 litters × no. of people in the household
Food supply: It doesn’t have to be emergency food, you can use what you eat everyday. Please store food that you can eat without cooking, such as canned goods, bottled items, or retort pouches (ready-to-eat meals).
◆We will repeatedly broadcast emergency information on disasters, including heavy rain and typhoons, on the radio Tackey 816!
