The Chile Rearing Allowance is for parent/guardian of a child who cannot live either with his/her father or mother. It is different from the Child Allowance (Jido Teate).
As the consumption tax has rose to 10% from this October, Child Rearing Allowance recipients who fit all of the following conditions may receive provisional benefits.
(1) Persons who have never married before (including common-law marriage)
(2) Persons who have resident registration in Minoh City as of Oct. 31, 2019
(3) Persons who are willing to receive Child Rearing Allowance for November 2019
Benefits amount: 17,500 yen per eligible child
How to apply: Apply at the City Office with the “Status Report for Child Allowance (Genkyo todoke)” sent to the recipients in July. The application form is at the Childcare Support Division (Kosodate Shien-ka). Persons who applied for the Child Rearing Allowance for the first time after this August, please contact below.
