Please make sure to use special garbage bags when throwing away combustible waste in Minoh City. The garbage bags are available for free by presenting a ticket (postcard) to exchange for “garbage bags for burnable waste” at the designated supermarkets, convenience stores, etc. A ticket was mailed to your address in the beginning of August. The deadline to get the garbage bags is Tue., Dec. 28. Less bags are provided after this date. There are three types of garbage bags, 20 ℓ, 30 ℓ and 40 ℓ. When you go to receive the garbage bags, please choose the combination of capacity size written on the ticket and also please don’t forget to take a large shopping bag for the free garbage bags.
(1) The following households will receive an additional ticket for extra free garbage bags. The ticket (postcard) will be mailed in the middle of August.
- Households with children under 3 years old as of Sep. 30, 2021 (No application needed.)
- Households with people over 65 or physically disabled people who use disposable diapers. (Application in advance necessary. Please apply at the Environment Management Office.)
(2) In the following cases, you may apply for extra free garbage bags.
- Households whose babies were born after July 2021, or who moved into Minoh City after July 2021 together with children under 3 years old: Bags are provided when you register a child’s birth or a change of residence at the City Office.
- People over 65 or physically disabled people who have recently started using disposable diapers: Please apply at the Environment Management Office.※If you have not received the ticket by Mon., Aug.16, please contact the Environment Management Office. The ticket has been mailed to those who have registered as residents of Minoh City as of June 30, 2021.
