For early cancer detection and treatment, an early medical checkup is important before symptoms appear. In Minoh City, you can have a free cancer screening. This offer expires Mon., Mar. 31, 2025.
◆Intended for:
Those who meet following age criteria as of Mar. 31, 2025
a. Stomach, lung, and colon cancer screenings: people aged 40 or older
b. Cervical cancer screening: women aged 20 or older
c. Breast cancer screening: women aged 40 or older with an even-numbered age
d. Prostate cancer screening: men aged 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, and 76
◆How to have a cancer screening:
(1) Find a hospital
Please see the Health Check-up Guidebook (“Kenshin Guidebook”) or the Minoh City website to choose the hospital where you want to have a cancer screening.
(2) Make an appointment
Please call the hospital you choose and tell them you want the free cancer screening.
(3) Visit the hospital on the appointment day
When you visit the hospital, please bring your Health Insurance Certificate (Kenko Hokensho) or other ID cards showing your name, address and age.
※In place of taking both the free Specific Health Checkup and the free Cancer Screening, you may have a complete medical checkup (Ningen Dock) at a deeply discounted rate.
