Minoh City extends support to resident families badly affected by the recent food price boosting. Everybody living in the city is entitled to receive the “Minoh City’s Benefit for Neutralizing the Food Price Hike”.
◆Eligibility
Minoh City residents registered as of January 1, 2026:
(1) Families who receive a Notification Letter from Minoh City (those who were qualified to receive a similar Benefit in the past)
(2) Families who receive the Confirmation Letter from Minoh City (all the families other than above (1))
In addition to these,
(3) Those who take refuge from DV in Minoh City are also eligible even if they are not registered residents (including those unregistered residents under divorce negotiation due to certain circumstances)
◆Benefit amount: ¥5,000 per person
◆How to apply
Those received the Notification Letter (1) above, no further action is required.
Those received the Confirmation Letter (2) above are required to fill out the application form enclosed in the Confirmation Letter and return it by post or via Minoh City website.
Those who fall under category (3) above, please call the Benefits Group, General Affairs Division (Soumu-shitsu, Kyufukin-group) to convey your will and ask them to send the application form, and upon receipt of it, please fill it out and return it by post along with other required documents.
Application deadline: Thu., April 30, 2026 (valid if postmarked on that day)
