Public Halls and Meeting Rooms

In Minoh City, public halls and meeting rooms are available to hire for meetings and events.
Many events, such as music concerts, are open for everyone to enjoy and many cultural groups are looking for new members. Please ask for details at your nearest facility.

Community Centers

There are 13 community centers in Minoh City that are used for community activities. You can hire meeting rooms or Japanese rooms. You can also join the activities.

You can apply to reserve rooms using the Minoh City Public Facility Reservation System.
*You cannot apply to reserve rooms at the community center counter desk.
Other than the above You can reserve rooms Monday – Friday 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
*Excluding public holidays, substitute holidays, closed days, 13 – 15 August, 28 Dec – 4 Jan
*At Community Center Seinan-Sho Kaikan, you can reserve rooms on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, as well as the first three days of the month, and the last two days of the month (except Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays).

 Minoh Citizen’s Activities Center

This is a facility for the purpose of supporting citizens’ activities. The center is barrier-free and has a multi-purpose room, playroom, meeting rooms, small-size meeting rooms, staff booths, and a working corner that can be used for printing. You can ask the staff about citizens’ activities. If you would like to inquire, please contact us beforehand.

Minoh Local History Museum
*From April 2024, the Minoh Local History Museum has moved to Sembanishi. There are new exhibition rooms, a space for food and drink/learning, and a baby changing station (“Aka-chan no eki”) for nursing and changing diapers.

The Outdoors

Alterna-no-mori Minoh (Outdoor Activity Center (Kyogaku-no-mori))
This is a campsite made for youth development and wider lifelong learning through experiencing nature and outdoor activities. The facilities were partially renovated in 2022, then fully reopened in 2023 to be more accessible to citizens. There are a range of facilities that can be used for a variety of occasions, such as the “Living Camp” (a wooden deck with a camping tent surrounded by forest), “Indoor Camp” (room with an interior completely consisting of camp items), and more. Inner-city reservations for accommodation and day trip barbeques can be made up to 4 months before.
