The Long-term Care Insurance premium (amounts of money to be paid) for the fiscal year of 2025 has been determined based on your 2024 income (salary, etc.). In mid-June you will receive a “Payment Notice” explaining how to pay your premiums. Please follow the instructions and complete your payment accordingly.
(1) If you are subject to the Special Collection System (automatic withdrawal from your pension), your premiums will be deducted from the pension you receive in even-numbered months.
(2) Those others (not covered by item (1)) must pay the premiums in 10 installments, from June 2025 to March 2026. If you use bank account transfer (automatic withdrawal from a bank account), the premium is deducted monthly. If you use the payment slips enclosed with your “Payment Notice”, please make sure to pay by the due date.
※If you have difficulty making payments, please contact the below as soon as possible. If you miss the payment due date, you will receive a reminder and a late fee may be charged. In some cases, you may end up paying more out of pocket when receiving care services.
