Among the items we use every day, there are dangerous goods which can cause accidents such as fires. Some are designated as Dangerous Goods under the Fire Services Act and their storage methods and usage are prescribed. Nail polish, nail-polish remover, oil for kerosene heaters, gasoline and light oil for cars are some of the examples. If you use them in the wrong way, accidents like fires can occur and in most cases it is due to carelessness. To prevent any accidents, please take the following precautions.
(1) Do not use or store them near a fire.
(2) Do not buy or stock more than you need.
(3) Do not store them where they might fall over or fall down in the case of an earthquake or other disaster.
