For the disposal of combustible garbage in Minoh City, you are required to use designated garbage bags. You can receive the designated garbage bags free of charge by exchanging the “Ticket (postcard) for Free Combustible Garbage Bags” at designated convenience stores, supermarkets, and other stores. The tickets have been mailed in order starting Sat., Aug. 1.
※The tickets are sent to residents who were registered as living in Minoh City as of June 30, 2026.
※If your exchange ticket has not arrived by Fri., Aug. 14, please contact the Environmental Clean Center (Kankyo Clean Center).
◆Exchange Period
You can exchange your ticket for garbage bags at designated stores until Mon., Dec. 28. After this date, exchange is available only at Minoh City Office, Toyokawa Branch, or Todoromi Branch. Please note that fewer bags will be available then. You cannot exchange your ticket after Thu., Sep. 30, 2027.
◆Number of Bags and Exchange Locations
The designated combustible garbage bags are available in three sizes: 20 liters, 30 liters, and 40 liters. Please choose one of the bag combinations shown on your exchange ticket. When you exchange your ticket, please bring a large bag to carry the garbage bags home.
For a list of exchange locations, please visit the Minoh City website. If you would like a bag combination that is not listed on your exchange ticket, please bring the ticket to the Citizen Services Policy Division (Shimin Service Seisaku-ka) at Minoh City Office, Toyokawa Branch, or Todoromi Branch.
◆Households Eligible for Additional Bags
The following households can receive additional designated garbage bags. The exchange tickets for these bags will be mailed in the middle of August.
(1) Households with children under 3 years old as of Sep. 30, 2026 (No application is required.)
(2) Households with people aged 65 or older, or people with disabilities, who use disposable diapers, and their applications were approved by the end of June. (Those who received additional bags last year do not need to apply again.)
※Printing color on the 2026 designated combustible garbage bags may change.
Due to global supply shortages affecting printing materials, the printing color on the 30-liter combustible garbage bags may change from “green” to “black”. Regardless of the change, the bags can be used in exactly the same way as before.
