We are looking for new “Foreign Resident Advisors for Disaster Prevention” to be active in Minoh City. International residents can become advisors after learning about disaster prevention through training and seminars as well as participating in disaster prevention drills. Their activities include developing and proposing ideas for helping international residents learn about disaster prevention.
Eligibility:
(1) International residents who live, work, or attend school in Minoh City.
(2) Those who can communicate via email in Japanese and understand the content of meetings in Japanese.
(3) Those who can attend disaster prevention training sessions and planning meetings, expected to be held about 10 times a year on Saturdays.
(All nationalities and ages are welcome.)
Activities: After completing the training and drills, they will plan and host seminars and events on disaster prevention for international residents as a “Minoh Foreign Resident Advisor for Disaster Prevention”.
Activity period: October 2026 to September 2027
Number to be recruited: 6 people
Allowance: ¥5,500 per activity (includes transportation costs)
