For early disease detection and treatment, it is important to have a screening before symptoms appear. In Minoh City, the following individuals can receive free screenings for cancer and osteoporosis. Free screenings are available until Wednesday, March 31, 2027.
◆Eligibility
Individuals who will be the following ages by March 31, 2027
Target of screening
Age and sex
Stomach cancer
Individuals aged 50 or older with an even-numbered age
Lung cancer
Individuals aged 40 or older
Colon cancer
Individuals aged 40 or older
Cervical cancer
Women aged 20 or older
Breast cancer
Women aged 40 or older with an even-numbered age
Prostate cancer
Men aged 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, and 76
Osteoporosis
Women aged 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, and 70
◆How to Get a Screening
(1) Find a medical institution
Choose a medical institution designated by Minoh City.

(2) Make an appointment
Call to make an appointment for free cancer/osteoporosis screening.
(3) Go to the institution on the day of the appointment
Bring an ID to show your name, address and age, such as “My Number Card.”
Appointments may fill up quickly in February and March. It is recommended that you book early.
