Minoh City will conduct health check-ups for children entering municipal elementary schools or municipal kindergartens in April 2022. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the date and time for check-ups will be predetermined. Minoh City sent “Notices of Health Check-up at School (Shugakuji Kenkou Shindan no Oshirase)” (containing information such as the dates for health check-up) and a return postcard to new schoolchildren in late September by mail. Please send back the return postcard, whether or not you want to take the check-up, and optionally your preferred date. Once the date is finalized, you will be informed of the date and time by mail. If the notice does not arrive to you, please contact the Student Guidance Division. For new kindergarteners, you will be informed of the application process in detail when you hand over the admission decision notification (Nyuen Kettei Tsuchisho) at the admission briefing held at kindergartens in mid-October.
Dates for check-ups: Mon., Nov. 8, Fri., Nov. 12, Mon., Nov. 15, Fri., Nov. 26, Mon., Nov. 29 (Choose which day you want.)
Hours for check-ups: 14:00-15:15
Place for check-ups: General Health & Welfare Center
Contents: Check-ups for internal medicine, ophthalmic and otolaryngology examinations (Dental and visual acuity examinations are provided to new schoolchildren.)
