If you wish to send your children to municipal nurseries or private nurseries, certified daycare centers (“Nintei-Kodomoen”, comprehensive nursery/kindergarten combined facilities), or municipal-level childcare services in April 2022, please submit the application as follows. Applicants on the waiting lists who have already applied for entry but have not yet been admitted are required to reapply.
◆Children who can enter a nursery
(1) Children from 57 days after birth to before entering elementary school as of April 1, 2022
(2) When the guardian cannot take care of them due to one of the following reasons:
a. Working outside the house
b. At home, doing work other than housework away from children
c. Just before or after giving birth to another baby
d. Being ill or mentally or physically disabled
e. Living with a family member who needs long-time care
f. Engaged in disaster recovery work
g. Being a student
h. When it is recognized that the child needs some support for development, etc.
(3) Children who live in Minoh City when they enter nurseries
◆How to apply
(1) Get a set of blank forms required for application.
You can get the application form from Mon., Oct. 11. These forms are available at the General Reception of Child & Youth Support (Kodomo Sogo Madoguchi) on the 2nd floor of the Minoh City Office Annex. They are also available at the municipal and private nurseries, Nintei-Kodomoen, Toyokawa Branch, Todoromi Branch and General Health & Welfare Center (Sogo Hoken Fukushi Center).
(2) Submit a set of completed application documents to the General Reception of Child & Youth Support (Kodomo Sogo Madoguchi).
You also need something that can identify you such as your “My Number Card” (Individual Number Card) or driver’s license.
◆Application period
The application is accepted from Wed., Nov. 10 to Mon., Dec. 6. The reception desk is open 8:45-17:15 except Sundays and national holidays. If you send it by mail, please post it by Fri., Nov. 26 (postmark valid) to the General Reception of Child & Youth Support.
※In the course of the fiscal year, please apply by the 5th of the month before the month you want to send your child to a nursery. For example, if it is in May, the application deadline is April 5. However, please note that the deadline is different than usual for February/March entry. As for the deadline for 2022 February/March entry, it is17:15 on Mon., December 6. Please do not miss the date.
