In order to support families with children, Osaka Prefecture is distributing digital gift cards of \10,000 to children under 18 years old. Minoh City adds \10,000 on this support, so eligible children will receive \20,000 total.
◆The eligibility
(1) Registered citizens as of Jun. 30, 2022 and under 18 years old as of Apr. 1, 2023
(2) Newborn babies whose birth registrations are submitted to Minoh City by Feb. 28, 2023
◆Distribution period
(1) Started to distribute late in July
(2) For children whose birth registrations are submitted in:
a. Jul. and Aug. → to be sent late in Sep.
b. Sep. – Nov. → to be sent late in Dec.
c. Dec. – Feb., 2023 → to be sent late in March 2023
◆Distribution procedure
Minoh City sends a letter to those eligible by simplified registered mail, “Kan-i-kakitome”.
※ The letter has a QR code to be scanned by smartphone, and you will receive \20,000 in “QUO card Pay”, a digital gift card. Those who are unable to scan the QR code for some reason, such as not having a smartphone, please contact the Osaka Prefecture Call Center for this fund (0120-085-253). You will be informed how to receive the \20,000 in a different way in exchange for your letter.
※ “Kan-i-kakitome”, a simplified registered mail requires the receiver’s signature or signature stamp when delivered. If you find “Gofuzai-renraku-hyo”, a missed delivery notice, in your mailbox due to the absence, you have to request for redelivery through the Japan Post website or by phone as written in the notice, or have to go to the post office along with your personal ID such as your passport to receive it.
