(1) If you have any of the symptoms below, consult your family doctor first.
a. Symptoms such as a high fever, shortness of breath (difficulty breathing), or strong tiredness (fatigue).
b. Persons at higher risk should consult their doctor even for relatively mild cold-like symptoms such as fever or cough. Following persons are considered higher risk: those who are pregnant, elderly, have underlying diseases, such as diabetes, chronic cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure, chronic lung diseases (such as emphysema etc.); those who are undergoing dialysis; those who are taking immuno-suppressants or anti-cancer medications.
(2) Even in cases other than the above, the family doctor should be consulted when you have cold-like symptoms for 4 days or more.
(3) If you cannot contact your family doctor during holidays or out-of-office hours, or you don’t have a family doctor, consult the Coronavirus Disease Examination Center.
