Please make sure to use special garbage bags when throwing away combustible waste in Minoh City. The garbage bags are available for free by presenting a ticket (postcard) to exchange for “garbage bags for burnable waste” at the designated supermarkets, convenience stores, etc. A ticket was mailed to your address in the beginning of August. The deadline to get the garbage bags is Wed., Dec. 28. After this date, you will be provided less bags, and after Fri., Sep. 29, 2023, the garbage bags will not be provided for free. There are three types of garbage bags, 20L, 30L and 40L. When you go to receive the garbage bags, please choose the combination of capacity sizes written on the ticket, and also please don’t forget to take a large shopping bag for the free garbage bags.
(1) If you want to get the other combination of capacity sizes, please go to the Citizen’s Information Division at Minoh City Office, Toyokawa Branch, or Todoromi Branch with the ticket (postcard).
(2) The following households will receive extra free garbage bags. The additional ticket (postcard) will be mailed in the middle of August.
a. Households with children under 3 years old as of Sep. 30, 2022. (No application needed.)
b. Households with people over 65 or physically disabled people who use disposable diapers, and their application was approved in June.
※The ticket has been mailed to those who have registered as residents of Minoh City as of June 30, 2022.
