Please make sure to use special garbage bags when throwing combustible waste away in Minoh City. The garbage bags are available for free by presenting a ticket (postcard) to exchange for garbage bags for “burnable waste” at the designated supermarkets, convenience stores, etc. A ticket has been mailed to your address in the beginning of August. The deadline to get garbage bags is Mon., Dec. 28, 2020. Less bags are provided after this date. From this year, you can choose three types garbage bags, 20L, 30L and 40L. Please bring a large shopping bag to receive the garbage bags.
(1) The following households will receive an additional ticket for extra free garbage bags. The ticket (postcard) will be mailed in the middle of August.
- Households with children under age 3 as of Sep. 30, 2020 (No application needed.)
- Households with people over age 65 or physically disabled people who use disposable diapers (Application in advance necessary. Please apply at the Environment Management Office.)
(2) In the following cases, you may apply for extra free garbage bags.
- Households in which babies were born after July 2020, or who moved into Minoh City with children under age 3 after July 2020: Bags are provided when registering a child’s birth or registering a change of residence at the City Office.
- People over age 65 or physically disabled people who have recently started using disposable diapers: Please apply at the Environment Management Office. A ticket will be mailed to you.
