Borrowing books
Anyone who lives/works/studies in Minoh City can borrow books from the City Libraries for free. You can borrow up to 20 books, and must return them within 15 days. When borrowing books, you need a library card.
When using the City Libraries for the first time, please bring something to verify your address, name, and birthdate, such as a resident card, special permanent resident certificate, driver’s license, or health insurance card.
You can also make a library card using the internet. Please prepare something to verify your address, name, and birthdate, and apply using the link below.

When a book that you would like to borrow is already out, you can reserve it. You can also reserve a book through the internet. Before using this service, you have to register a password by yourself.
If there is a book you want to read that is not in the City Libraries, you can fill in a request form for the City Libraries to buy it, or to borrow it from a library in another city.
You can read foreign language newspapers and magazines at the library (excluding Sakuragaoka Library and Right-Pia 21 Library Corner).
If you bring your library card, you can enjoy DVDs (e.g. movies) and music CDs free of charge at the City Libraries (except for Onohara Library, Sakuragaoka Library, and the Right-Pia 21 Library Corner).
Once you register your password, you can access the e-library and audiobooks via the internet.

Returning books
You can return books to any library in Minoh City. If the library is closed, you can return books through the returns slot.
