Minoh City residents sending their 2nd child to an unlicensed daycare facility or a company-led nursery school (excluding company’s or hospital’s workplace day care centers, and overnight childcare centers) are entitled to receive a subsidy covering a part of their daycare fee upon application (2nd child: max.￥21,000, 3rd and onward: max.￥42,000).
Eligibility: Children aged 0 to 2 of a household meeting all of the following criteria.
(1) The second child aged 0 to 2 (and younger siblings, if any) of a household whose eldest one is still below school age. If the household’s income-based city residents’ tax amount is equal to￥77,100 or less, all the children aged 0 to 2 are automatically eligible irrespective of the eldest one’s age.
(2) Both guardians and children are registered residents of Minoh.
(3) The guardians (parents) work for more than 64 hours a month.
(4) The household pays residents’ tax.
How to apply: Fill out the application form and submit it to the Desk for Early Childhood (Kodomo Sogo Madoguchi) along with the required documents in person or by post (562-0003 Nishishoji 4-6-1, Minoh).
Application submission: Tue., Apr. 1 to Wed., Apr. 30, 2025 (closed on Sundays and holidays)
