For early disease detection and treatment, it is important to have a screening before symptoms appear. In Minoh City, people on the list below can receive free screenings for cancer and osteoporosis. Free screenings are available until Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
◆Eligibility
Those who will be the following ages by March 31, 2026
Target of screening
Age and gender
Stomach cancer
People aged 50 or older with an even-numbered age
Lung cancer
People aged 40 or older
Colon cancer
People aged 40 or older
Cervical cancer
Women aged 20 or older
Breast cancer
Women aged 40 or older with an even-numbered age
Prostate cancer
Men aged 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, and 76
Osteoporosis
Women aged 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, and 70
◆How to Get a Screening
(1) Find a hospital
Choose the hospital designated by Minoh City (the city-designated medical institution).
(2) Make an appointment
Call the hospital of your choice and request an appointment for free cancer/osteoporosis screening.
(3) Visit the hospital on the day of appointment
Bring an ID to show your name, address and age such as “My Number” Card.
※It may become difficult to make an appointment in March because of high demand. It is recommended that you get screened early.
