Please file your final tax return for 2022 between Thu., Feb. 16 and Wed., Mar. 15, 2023.
(1) You can ask for some advice to fill in the final tax return at the Tax Office.
If you have any questions, you can get answers at the Tax Office. We recommend you arrive there early because a lot of people will come there. A numbered ticket is required to enter the venue (Toyono Tax Office). Please note that admission may be restricted to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 and the last entry may be closed early. Also, to shorten the time of your stay, please fill in your final tax return and attached documents at home and bring them with you. Please wear a mask at the venue.

※Closed on Sat., Sun. and National Holidays except Sun., Feb. 19 & Sun. Feb. 26
※There are two ways to get the numbered ticket. One is that you get it when you arrive there and the other is that you get it in advance from the National Tax Agency LINE official account.
(2) How to fill in and file the final tax return
a. Write on the paper form, “Shinkokusho”.
You can get the paper form at the Tax Office or download it on the National Tax Agency (Kokuzeicho) website.

When making it, please be careful not to forget to fill in each item.
After filling in the form, please bring or send it by post to Toyono Tax Office.
b. Create a final tax return on the internet.
You can fill in the online form at “Creation corner for final tax return (Kakutei Shinkokusho-tou Sakusei Corner)” on the National Tax Agency (Kokuzeicho) website at:

Please print the completed form out and bring or send it by post to Toyono Tax Office.
c. Send from your PC or smartphone using e-Tax.
By getting your ID and password at the Tax Office, you can file the completed form through your PC or smartphone. If you read the contents of your Income Withholding Record with the camera of your smartphone, you can automatically enter it into the relevant items of “Creation corner for final tax return (Kakutei Shinkokusho-tou Sakusei Corner)”.
