Minoh City residents aged 40 to 74 during the period from Apr. 1, 2024 to Mar. 31, 2025 who have National Health Insurance are eligible for a free medical checkup for lifestyle-related diseases (high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.). It is important to find these diseases at an early stage. Minoh City sent a free ticket for this medical checkup (Specific Health Checkup) to those eligible in the middle of April. If you have not yet received, please contact the National Health Insurance Office (Kokumin Kenko Hoken-shitsu).
◆How to have a Specific Health Checkup:
(1) Find a hospital
Please see the Health Check-up Guidebook (“Kenshin Guidebook”) or the Minoh City website to choose the hospital where you want to have a Specific Health Checkup.
(2) Make an appointment
Please call the hospital you choose and tell them you want to take the free Specific Health Checkup.
(3) Visit the hospital on the appointment day
When you visit the hospital please bring your Specific Health Checkup ticket received from Minoh City, the completed questionnaire (attached to the ticket) and your Health Insurance Certificate (Kenko Hokensho) or other ID cards showing your name, address and age.
※In place of taking both the free Specific Health Checkup and the free Cancer Screening, you may have a complete medical checkup (Ningen Dock) at a deeply discounted rate.
