¥1,000 off coupons for flu vaccines were sent at the end of September to families with children aged from 6 months to the 6th grade of elementary school. Enclosed are 2 copies of the coupon per child valid until Tue., Dec. 28. If you want to have your children vaccinated, you may use these coupons by the expiration date. If you have not yet received the coupon, please contact the Healthy Children Division (Kodomo Sukoyaka-shitsu).
※Children under age 13 are recommended to get vaccinated twice per season. After the first vaccination, an interval of 2 – 4 weeks is required before the second. Timely vaccinations are recommended — get the first one quickly if you wish to complete the second one before the coupons expire.
※ When children are aged 12 or older and have COVID-19 vaccination, more than two weeks are needed in between COVID-19 and Influenza vaccines or vice versa.
※The fee varies for each medical institution, most probably at around ¥2,500 per shot. Reservation may be required.
