10 Points to Protect Your Life from House Fire

Lots of house fires are caused by the slightest carelessness. In addition, these days many of the people who die by house fires are elderly people over 65 years old. Many fires can be prevented through the efforts of each one of us. Please review the following “4 Habits and 6 Measures” in your daily life.
◆4 Habits (to be careful not to cause a fire)
(1) Never smoke in bed.
(2) Do not place flammable items around stoves or other heating devices.
(3) When using a cooking stove, do not stay away from the fire.
(4) Remove dust from electrical outlets and unplug unused plugs.
◆6 Measures (how to prevent a major fire)
(1) Use a stove or stove with a safety device.
(2) Set residential fire alarms to detect fires and escape quickly.
(3) Use fire-retardant bedding, clothing, and curtains.
(4) Place fire extinguishers in your home to put out fires while they are still small.
(5) Cooperate with neighbors to protect the elderly and physically disabled.
(6) Hold fire drills and take other actions to prevent fires in the community.
