For early cancer detection and treatment, it is essential to have a medical checkup before symptoms appear. In Minoh City, you can have a free cancer screening. Even if you have stopped taking a medical checkup because of COVID-19, please reconsider.
※The validity period of the free cancer screening is until Sun., Mar. 31, 2024.
◆Intended for:
a. Stomach, Lung, and Colon cancers screenings: people aged 40 or older
b. Cervical cancer screening: women aged 20 or older
c. Breast cancer screening: women aged 40 or older with an even-numbered age
d. Prostate cancer screening: men aged 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, and 76
◆How to have a cancer screening:
(1) Find a hospital.
Please refer to the Health Check-up Guidebook (“Kenshin Guidebook”) or the Minoh City website. From there, decide on the hospital where you will have a cancer screening.
(2) Make an appointment.
Please call the hospital where you want to visit and tell them, “I would like to get my free cancer screening”.
(3) Visit the hospital on the appointment day.
Please visit the hospital with your Health Insurance Certificate (Kenko Hokensho), Driver’s License, or other certificates that can prove your name, address, and age.
