Please apply if you wish to enroll your child in a nursery, a certified child center (nursery course), or a community-based daycare center in Minoh City from April 2026.
◆Eligible
(1) Children who are living in Minoh City and at age of 57 days after birth up to right before entering elementary school as of April 1, 2026.
(2) In Japan, guardians (such as parents) must provide certification that they are unable to take care of the child(ren) at home due to work or other reasons.
◆How to Apply
(1) Between Mon., Oct. 20 and Fri., Nov. 14, 2025, access the “Application for Nursery Admission April 2026” in the Minoh City website.
(2) Download the required forms for your application from “the List of Documents Certifying the Necessity of Nursing” and complete them.
(3) Submit the completed Application Forms with the required documents through the same web page.
◆If You Are Unable to Apply Online
Please make an appointment by phone and visit the Desk for Early Childhood (Kodomo Sogo Madoguchi) for consultation between Mon., Oct. 20 and Fri., Nov. 14, 2025. (It is located on the 2nd Floor of the Minoh City Office Annex at Nishishoji 4-6-1, Minoh.) Office hours are from 9:00 to 17:00 on Monday through Friday. (Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays except on Saturdays, Oct. 25 and Nov. 8)
◆Additional Application
If there are vacancies in early February 2026, a 2nd application period will be offered for specific facilities and for specific age groups where openings are available.
