◆Scholarships for Children Orphaned by Traffic Accidents:
This scholarship is for elementary, middle, and high school students, etc. under the age of 20 who have lost a guardian (such as a parent or other relative responsible for providing financial support) in a traffic accident.
Eligibility:
Elementary school students: ¥50,000 per year
Middle school students, high school students, and others under the age of 20: ¥70,000 per year
※A letter will be sent to those currently receiving this scholarship. Please complete the procedures to continue receiving it.
◆ Minoh City Scholarship:
This scholarship is for students who cannot attend high school or technical college due to financial difficulties.
– Grant-type (no repayment required) :
￥50,000 per year
– Loan-type (repayment required) :
Public high schools, etc. – Up to ￥150,000 per year
Private high schools, etc. – Up to ￥300,000 per year
Leaflets containing detailed information are available at the School Life Support Division, Toyokawa Branch, and Todoromi Branch. They can also be downloaded from the Minoh City website.
Applications: Starting from Wednesday, April 1 via either method (1) or (2) below:
(1) Please bring your application to the School Life Support Division or send it by post.

※For the Loan-type, applications must be submitted in person to the School Life Support Division. Applications cannot be submitted at Toyokawa Branch or Todoromi Branch.
◆ Financial Aid for Items Needed for School:
This program supports children attending municipal elementary or middle schools whose families have low incomes (such as those receiving welfare benefits). Funds can be used to purchase items necessary for school.
