Recently, the number of new cases of COVID-19 has been on the rise nationwide. However, the third vaccination rate is low for the younger generation (especially those in their teens to thirties). Since people expect to communicate more with other people during summer vacation, etc., those who want to get the third vaccination are suggested to get it as soon as possible to prevent the spread of infection and becoming seriously ill. People with their residence registered in Minoh City and meeting the following criteria can get the booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccination. Newly arrived residents are also eligible as long as they meet the criteria below.
◆Those who are eligible for the third vaccination:
People (including those aged 12 to 17) who have been vaccinated for 5 months since the second vaccination.
◆Those who will become eligible for the fourth vaccination:
People who have been vaccinated for 5 months since the third vaccination and at the same time those who meet any of the following criteria (1) to (3).
(1) People who are over 60 years old, or
(2) People between the ages 18 and 59 who have underlying diseases, or
(3) People who have been diagnosed by a doctor as having an increased risk of becoming seriously ill if infected with COVID-19.
◆About vaccination tickets:
Minoh City sent the vaccination tickets by mail in July to the eligible people whose booster shot is to be scheduled in August 2022. If you have not yet received the ticket even though you are eligible, please contact the Minoh City COVID-19 Vaccination Call Center.
※Minoh City is going to send the vaccination tickets monthly to those eligible for the fourth booster shot and who meet condition (1). As for those who meet the criteria (2) and (3), please apply from this QR code by yourself.

(Without the ticket you might not be able to get vaccinated.) Also, please keep the sheet with the sticker with the vaccine name and lot number you will receive after the vaccination.
