To support single-parent families, the government will pay provisional benefits (a. Basic Benefits, and b. Supplemental Benefits) to the eligible single-parent (or guardian) households. Minoh City has sent application forms to the (1) and (2) households below.
- Basic Benefits
Amount: ￥50,000 for a household, ￥30,000 for each subsequent child.
Eligible households:
(1) Those who received the Child Rearing Allowance for June 2020, or those who have the same level income.
(2) Those who are eligible for receiving the Child Rearing Allowance but did not receive for June 2020, because they are paid public pensions.
(3) Those who are not eligible for the Child Rearing Allowance due to high income but have suffered a decrease in income to the level as above (1) due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
How to apply:
(1) Application not needed.
(2) Fill in and send back the application form.
(3) Download application form from the Minoh City website and send with the necessary documents.
- Supplemental Benefits
Amount: ￥50,000 per household
Eligible for: Those among (1) and (2) above, whose income decreased due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
How to apply: Fill in and send back the application form.
Application deadline: Wed., Sep.30, 2020 (for both a. and b.)
※A single parent who takes refuge in Minoh City from DV can also apply. Please contact below for details.
