Starting in late August, the notification letters have been sent by mail to registered residents of Minoh City as of Aug. 8, 2024, and are raising children (from the age of 0 years old to the first Mar. 31 when they turn 18 years old, and have an address in Japan), and those who are receiving child (children) allowances or special benefits from Minoh City. Please be sure to read the information letter when you receive it.
If you moved to Minoh City after Aug. 9, if you gave birth, or if you or your child are not registered as residents in Minoh City due to special circumstances, you might not receive any notification. If so, please contact below.
◆Main changes from October (December payment)
(1) The age range eligible for benefits is expanded
(2) Eliminate income restrictions: Allowances can be received regardless of the parent’s income. If both parents have income, the one with the higher income will be the recipient.
(3) The amount of allowance (amount you receive) will increase for your third child and beyond.
(4) The way children are counted changes in households with many children: When parents are responsible for the financial burden of a child (children) up to the age of 22 (until Mar. 31 of the first year of age 22), that child (children) is counted as the first child and second child.
(5) Change of payment month: Changes from 3 times a year to 6 times a year (even months). Payment will be made for 2 months prior to the month of payment.

Application will be accepted until Thu., Oct. 31, 2024. And thereafter until Mon., Mar 31, 2025, but payment will be delayed.
