Single-parent families can receive the “Special Benefit for Supporting Low-income Families with Children (Single-parent Households)”. The benefit is available to the following single-parent or guardian households.
Eligible households:
(1) Those who have received the Child Rearing Allowance for April 2021.
(2) Those who are eligible for the Child Rearing Allowance but have not received the Child Rearing Allowance for April 2021 due to receiving public pensions.
(3) Those who are not eligible for the Child Rearing Allowance due to their high income, but those whose income has decreased to the same level as those who receive the Child Rearing Allowance due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Payment amount: ¥50,000 per child
How to apply:
Those who are eligible (1) do not need to apply. Those in categories (2) and (3) need to apply. Please download the application form from the Minoh City website and submit it along with the required documents. You can also apply by post.
Application deadline: Mon., Feb. 28, 2022
